Vacancy for Part-time Teaching Assistant (Key Stage 1)
Term Time only (38 weeks p.a.)
Scale: ME4 Point 4 - £28,125 FTE (£11,915 Pro Rata)
Hours: 5 Mornings 08:45 – 12:30 (3.5 Hrs including 15 Minute unpaid break)
Starting: As soon as possible
We are seeking to appoint a proactive, effective and dedicated Teaching Assistant with high expectations who is able to motivate our children to make at least good progress and who will enjoy working in our friendly, high performing team.
The successful applicant will have:
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Good communication skills and enjoy working with young people
• A positive outlook and be a team player
• A commitment to equal opportunities
• Experience at running interventions would be welcome
Wimbledon Chase is a large three form entry primary school with a Nursery in Wimbledon which serves a culturally diverse and vibrant community. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school and our communities of pupils and families include a great variety of languages, cultures and backgrounds.
