Hays Marketing is working in partnership with a leading organisation in the aviation sector who are seeking a dynamic and creative Internal Communication & Engagement Officer to join their team on a 2-year fixed-term basis.
This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a major transformation programme of national significance, where your communication expertise will help shape the employee experience during a period of exciting change.
The Role
You'll be responsible for delivering engaging internal communication strategies that connect colleagues across the business. From crafting compelling content to managing key channels, your work will foster a sense of community, clarity, and purpose.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and executing internal campaigns for organisation-wide initiatives
- Managing communication platforms including newsletters, intranet, digital signage, and team briefings
- Writing and editing content tailored to diverse audiences
- Collaborating with teams across the business to understand and meet communication needs
- Celebrating achievements and sharing stories that build culture and engagement
- Monitoring effectiveness and driving continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, curious mindset and creative flair
- Confidence in working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Experience engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with InDesign/Photoshop/Canva is an advantage.
- A passion for making internal communication meaningful and memorable
- Being able to engage with an offline population
