Urgent Requirement - Immediate Start for Final Phase Works
We are seeking two reliable and highly skilled JIB Approved Electricians for a short-term contract on a large-scale solar farm in the Cheshire (CW6) area.
This role is for the final phase of the project, requiring skilled professionals to complete commissioning, testing, and final connections. This is a fantastic opportunity for electricians with relevant experience to join a key renewable energy project.
The Role:
Working outdoors on the solar farm, you will be involved in the final stages of the electrical installation. Your duties will include:
· Final circuit terminations and connections.
· Commissioning and testing of DC and AC systems.
· Troubleshooting and fault-finding on string arrays and inverters.
· Final inspections and ensuring all work is compliant with relevant standards.
· Liaising with site supervisors and providing handover documentation.
The Candidate (Essential Requirements):
· Must be a JIB Approved Electrician (Gold Card).
· Proven background in solar PV installations or industrial electrical work.
· Experience with MV systems is highly advantageous.
· Ability to work effectively outdoors in all conditions.
· Strong understanding of BS 7671 and relevant health and safety regulations.
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
· Must have all necessary own tools and PPE.
