Are you calm under pressure, reliable, and looking for flexible work during term time? We are seeking a team of professional and responsible Exam Invigilators to support students during key examination periods across multiple secondary schools in Sheffield.

About the Role:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and fair running of exams in accordance with exam board regulations. This is a flexible, zero-hours role ideal for those seeking term-time work, such as university students, retired professionals, or anyone looking to support young people in education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up examination rooms and distribute exam papers and materials

  
  

• Supervise students during exams, ensuring compliance with all exam regulations

  
  

• Provide clear instructions and manage any queries in a calm and professional manner

  
  

• Collect and organise completed scripts at the end of each exam

  
  

• Report any incidents, breaches, or irregularities to the Exams Officer

  
  About You:

  We are looking for Exam Invigilators who are:

  • Reliable, punctual, and well-organised

    
    

  • Able to remain calm and authoritative under pressure

    
    

  • Comfortable working with young people in an educational setting

    
    

  • Flexible and available during exam periods (particularly November, January, May, and June)

    
    

  • Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
