McGinley Supports Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter to join a long-term construction project based in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected contractor on a high-profile site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and install formwork for concrete foundations, walls, columns, and slabs.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Measure, cut, and assemble shuttering systems to specified dimensions.
- Collaborate with other trades on site, including steel fixers and groundworkers.
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Blue CSCS Card (NVQ Level 2 in Formwork/Carpentry or equivalent)
- Proven experience in shuttering/formwork on civil or commercial projects
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Full PPE and own tools
- Own transport preferred but not essential
