ABOUT THE ROLE

Provide first-line HR administrative support across the colleague lifecycle, including starters, leavers, changes, and probations.
Manage the full onboarding process for new starters, including issuing contracts, processing DBS checks, and completing right-to-work checks.
Coordinate volunteer recruitment administration, including DBS checks and maintaining the volunteer database.
Support recruitment activities by advertising roles, arranging interviews, and managing candidate communications.
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with GDPR and safer recruitment policies.
Act as a key point of contact for HR queries, delivering excellent customer service and guidance on systems and processes.
Collaborate with HR colleagues, Payroll, IT, and other teams to ensure smooth HR operations.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline HR processes.

ABOUT YOU

Experienced in providing administrative support, ideally within HR or a similar environment.
Confident using HR or in-house systems and able to guide others in their use.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong Excel capabilities.
Highly organised, accurate, and methodical with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
Knowledge of GDPR, confidentiality principles, and safer recruitment processes (desirable).
Adaptable, approachable, and committed to delivering a high-quality service.
Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
