Temporary role for a Shot Blaster, based near Gosberton. Working hours are 7.30am - 4pm Monday – Thursday and 7.30am – 3pm Friday with the opportunity of overtime when required.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shot Blaster to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing metal and other surfaces using shot blasting equipment to ensure a clean, smooth, and high-quality finish.
Key Duties:
Operate shot blasting machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
Prepare and clean metal, steel, or concrete surfaces by removing rust, paint, and contaminants
Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards
Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of blasting equipment
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including use of PPE
Record work completed and report any defects or issues
Skills & Qualities:
Previous experience in shot blasting is essential
Good attention to detail with a focus on quality
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
Awareness of health and safety procedures in an industrial environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
