We are seeking a Service Delivery Shunter Level 2 to join us our Dover Priory site on a temporary basis.The main purpose of the role is to provide correctly marshalled trains at the time laid down and ensure this work is performed safely and to provide a quality and cost-efficient service.

Main Responsibilities
- Maintain competency in Isolations and carry out Isolations as and when required.
- To Ensure Passenger Stock is formed correctly as shown in Carriage Working notice and supplements.
- Responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of Rules and Regulations that apply to work.
- Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with the depot operating instruction for movements and depot protection.
- Ensure compliance to the requirement of Engineering and Railway Group Standards and any other documents relevant to the operation of the depot.
- Ensure your personal safety and that of others at all times.
- Ensure that Depot premises are maintained in a safe and clean condition.

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

- To be proactive when it comes to problem solving and decision making
- To be disciplined with a healthy respect for rules & procedures
- To be punctual and reliable
- Basic Mechanical skills
- The ability to work as part of a cross-functioning team
- To demonstrate our values on a day to day basis
