Crynodeb
A new, purpose-built laboratory (with full consultant reporting / MDT and mortuary facilities) opened at the Ysbyty Glan Clwyd site (Bodelwyddan) in August 2013. Satellite sites, with specimen reception, consultant / secretarial accommodation and full reporting / MDT and mortuary facilities remain in place at Ysbyty Gwynedd and Ysbyty Wrexham Maelor. We have AI technology that supports the reporting of prostate biopsies and breast biopsies and a new x120 rapid tissue processor. This is an exciting opportunity to offer support to committed staff and colleagues with the encouragement of the Health Board. The main base is well placed close to Junction 25 of the A55. North Wales offers a myriad of opportunities for outside leisure whether that be sailing from Deganwy, climbing and walking in Snowdonia or Mountain biking in Llandegla.
