We’re working with a leading technology-driven business in the energy sector who are looking for a Scheduling Assistant to join their friendly and fast-paced team in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to get started quickly, with the potential for a long-term career move.

Package & Details

Salary: £24,500
Start: ASAP - 6-month FTC, with scope to become permanent
Hours: 35 hours, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
Location: Blackpool (office-based to begin with, hybrid after training – 2/3 days in office/home)
Start date: ASAP

The Role:
You’ll be part of the team that organises smart meter installations, exchanges and maintenance across the UK. Your focus will be on keeping appointments running smoothly – matching customer needs with engineer availability while maintaining great service standards.



Your Day-To-Day Will Include:

Managing customer queries by phone and email.
Booking and scheduling engineers for appointments.
Handling urgent work requests and allocating to the right engineer.
Keeping track of KPIs and service levels.
Solving scheduling challenges quickly and effectively.
Building strong relationships with engineers, customers and colleagues across the business.


What We’re Looking For:

Ideally up to 2 years’ experience in scheduling, coordination or administration.
Awareness of Meter Operators (MOP) is helpful but not essential.
Excellent customer service skills and a confident communicator.
Organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and CRM/provider systems).
A problem-solver with a proactive and positive attitude.
