Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Floating Senior Support Worker/ Team Leader to join our multi Supported Living services in Huddersfield and Halifax

About the role

As a Team Leader you will provide support to our multi Supported Living Service in Huddersfield and Halifax, providing specialised person centred support. Radis recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and provide a consistent approach throughout their life.

To work alongside the Managers of our Supported Living Services- overseeing the smooth running of these services, completing regular audits, checks, supervisions, spot checks, updating and reviewing support plans and working to ensure that individuals achieve their outcomes.

The role will require you to schedule / allocate work to the Support Workers, support with medication, personal care tasks and covering shifts within the services.

The hours are 30 hours care duties in Huddersfield and Halifax and 1 day in the office. The office is based in Bradford

Driving licence is essential for this floating role and to be able to attend the office.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role

Previous experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, autism and mental health issues

Previous experience as a Team Leader is essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients needs and expectations.

This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check. Drivers required due to localities
