£13.50 per hour
Mon-Thurs, 07:00-15:30 Fri 07:00-13:00 (38 hours per week)
Immediate Start | Temporary 3-4 weeks | On-site Parking

The Opportunity

We're looking for a practical, hands-on individual to join a well-established manufacturing and assembly company based in Wellingborough. If your reliable, have experience as an assembler, using hand tools and confident with mechanical work this could be a great fit for you!

You'll be part of a friendly and hardworking production team, reporting to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembling mechanical assembly using hand tools, torque tools and other equipment.

  • Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions and engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly.

  • Conduct in-process quality checks and report any non-conformance's or defects.

  • Record production data and complete relevant documentation accurately.

  • Interpreting and working from technical drawings and instructions.

  • Operating safely within a busy workshop or assembly environment.

  • Working closely with colleagues to meet production deadlines.

  • General warehouse tasks as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Comfortable with physical work and heavy lifting.

  • Able to use hand tools, torque tools and follow visual instructions or measurements.

  • Reliable, punctual, strong eye to detail and able to work as part of a team.

  • Health & Safety conscious.
