In your role you’ll:
- Investigate and resolve housing management and antisocial behaviour (ASB) cases.
- Work with our legal partners and represent RHP at court during legal proceedings.
- Develop an excellent knowledge of safeguarding adults and children so you can identify, manage, and support customers and represent RHP at multiagency case reviews.
- Investigate and respond to incidents of hoarding and other forms of neglect.
- Write and present witness statements and case reviews and advocate for RHP at stakeholder meetings.
- Develop good working knowledge of housing legislation and use this to address tenancy breaches.
- Tackle crime and ASB on our estates, working with the police and other agencies.
- Have professional relationships with the community mental health team and social services, arranging support for customers whose tenancy is at risk.
- Manage and resolve complex high-level ASB, working with other agencies to act quickly and proportionately protecting residents, victims, and perpetrators.
- Resolve complex sensitive casework that may involve child protection issues, adults at risk and or customers who present a risk to themselves or the community as a result of their behaviour.
- Carry out visits to inspect properties or meet with customers where there are concerns regarding the tenancy and take appropriate action.
- Support the development and implementation of effective housing policies and procedures.
- Work with the South West London Fraud Partnership (SWLFP) to investigate and prevent fraud and subletting.
