We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Usk to assist with the appointment of a Business Support Assistant, on a 5.5-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £13.69 - £17.41 per hour
Summary:
To provide high-quality administrative and business support to Childrens Services within Social Care and Health. The role ensures that social work teams are supported with reliable, efficient, and flexible administrative services that enable them to deliver effective services for children, young people, and families.
Responsibilities:
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (letters, emails, mail merges).
Maintain accurate filing systems (electronic and paper).
Manage petty cash in line with procedures.
Create and maintain childrens records, assessments, and reviews in the PLANT internal database.
Support with HR administration including recruitment paperwork, meeting facilitation, appraisals, and team meetings.
Qualifications & Knowledge:
Exceptionally high IT literacy and data management capability.
6 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above.
Experiences:
Recent experience in an administrative environment.
Experience organising meetings, diaries, and taking minutes.
Experience developing and maintaining administrative systems.
Experience managing systems and data for record keeping and reporting.
Please note:
You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
