Are you a diligent and detail-oriented individual looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their dynamic team in Todmorden. As a vital part of the operations, you will ensure that their products are packed securely and efficiently, maintaining a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use a variety of materials, such as boxes, shrink wrap, and tape, to package goods securely, preventing damage during transit.
- Conduct quality control inspections, checking for damages, defects, or missing components, and follow procedures for discarding or replacing non-compliant items.
- Apply accurate labels and complete all relevant paperwork to track order progress effectively.
- Assist in unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and conducting inventory checks to maintain an organised warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, in accordance with safety regulations (if licensed).
- Uphold Health and Safety policies and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control processes.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills with a focus on accurate documentation.
- A proactive approach to Health and Safety in the workplace.
