We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our client's Northumbrian Water team. This is a fast-paced role where you will be at the heart of delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for every customer. You will be working on a project and answering queries relating to this.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls and written correspondence, delivering service to the high standards set by NWL and maintaining their commitment to first-class customer care.
- Aim for first-time resolution, taking ownership of customer enquiries and ensuring that promises are kept.
- Complete customer-related system updates and amendments during quieter periods.
- Enter data accurately into company systems, ensuring all information is maintained in line with procedures.
- Proactively identify and escalate process or procedural issues that may affect the customer experience.
- Use systems effectively to support service delivery and contribute to company targets.
- Support colleagues across the contact centre, working collaboratively to ensure a consistently high level of service.
- Work flexibly to adapt to the needs of customers and the wider team.
- Collaborate with other teams across the business to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Carry out other reasonable tasks as required in line with operational needs.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve queries effectively.
- High attention to detail with accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
