Vacancy Reference: 183813
Salary: UofG Grade 2, £23,350 per annum.
This post is full time (35 hours p/w) and fixed term for up to 2 years from agreed start date.
The University of Glasgow has been changing the world for more than 574 years, and we are one of the world's top 100 universities, ranked 12th in the world in the Times Higher Education (THE) World Impact Rankings 2024, demonstrating that we are not only one of the best universities in the United Kingdom, but one of the best universities for the world. Our people have always been at the forefront of innovation, and our past achievements inspire our current world changers.
This is a great opportunity for a Modern Apprentice to join the University’s Finance Office.
In this role train under the modern apprenticeship programme and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations across our busy office. You will be providing first-line support across the team while developing valuable skills in office systems, communication, and coordination.
Through appropriate training and development you will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting issues, assisting staff with technical queries and learning from experienced professionals.
You will experience being part of development and transformation projects and learn the stages of system implementations whilst gaining experience using software to deliver operational and performance reporting, contributing to data quality and standards.
