Crynodeb
This is a 10PA full-time post and the post holder will be expected to share the clinical leadership for the Generic CAMHS Team with other consultants working in the team. The post-holder will be expected: -To manage an established caseload of approximately 60 patients many of whom use medication-To contribute to the management of clients under the care of non-medical staff and give medical input to their management plans.-To develop treatment plans for 2-3 new clients per month-To contribute to assessment regarding complex neurodevelopmental conditions and other types of complex psychiatric conditions-To offer consultation to SPoA ( Single Point of Access) 2 hours per week via the weekly MDT-To comply with all legal obligations covering clinical practice e.g. Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, safeguarding procedures-To complete relevant paperwork, including maintaining the electronic record and participating in routine outcome monitoring of clinical work-To teach and supervise medical staff and other professionals in all aspects of psychiatric care-To participate in the weekly team meeting and undertake other duties, as negotiated, that contribute to the good functioning of the clinical team-To provide clinical and professional leadership within the post and take part in management activities and governance processes related to the post or the wider service within which it is embedded.-As a senior clinician, to have an integral role in the performance of the team, further development of the service, and the development of the clinical pathways and priorities of the service line-To take part in the Tri-Borough (Barnet, Enfield and Haringey) on-call rota.- To take part in the day psychiatric rota for Haringey CAMHS
