What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for someone who will:
• Be an inspiring, enthusiastic, highly skilled classroom practitioner with high expectations of all pupils.
• Be creative with the children’s learning journeys to inspire and cater for all of our pupils which will ensure their love of learning continues.
• Be experienced in the use of assessments to identify gaps so that children “keep up” rather than having to “catch up”.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to work tirelessly with parents and other agencies to ensure that the children’s experience at school is the very best that it can be.
• Have a sound understanding of primary pedagogy and the rigours of the National Curriculum.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.

The amendments to the ROA 1974 (Exceptions Order 1975, (amended 2013 and 2020)) provide that when applying for certain jobs and activities, certain spent convictions and cautions are ‘protected’, so do not need to be disclosed to employers, and if they are disclosed, employers cannot take them into account.
