What you'll be doing;
- Lead project delivery across Construction, Engineering, Infrastructure and Process Plant projects from concept to handover, managing up to a 250m portfolio.
- Provide direction, leadership and accountability to project leaders while overseeing project schedules and taking action with project managers and contractors.
- Manage and develop a team of approximately 50 individuals (including up to 10 direct reports) through coaching and structured people development planning
- Engage with senior stakeholders including, board, governance, and the wider business for risk reviews, legal and contract management
- Ensure compliance with all Building and Engineering Standards while managing budget control and cost models across the project portfolio
- Drive innovation in project delivery to enable cost savings, program management and support business growth aligned with Veolia's Green Up strategy
- Manage contractual negotiations, dispute resolution and procurement processes for complex EPC-style contracts
- Provide regular reporting to senior management and UK Board level on project progress, issues and required changes
What we're looking for;
- Degree in Construction / Engineering or Related Field
- Large-Scale EPC Contract Experience
- P&L and Executive Leadership Experience
- Construction Project Management in Regulated Environments
- Commercial Contract Knowledge and excellent levels of business acumen
- The ability to develop and build a high performing team
