We are looking for an Architectural Technologist, based in our Speke office, to join our Kier Design business in providing design and other professional services across a range of sectors, but predominantly the built environment, for public and private sector clients. Location: Speke, Liverpool
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?
As Architectural Technologist you'll be working within our Architecture & Building Consultancy team, producing high quality, comprehensive sets of detailed drawings and specifications in REVIT which will enable projects to be completed within agreed cost and budget parameters, running projects on site, and managing more junior members of the team.
Your day to day will include:
-Evaluating and advising on environmental, legal and regulatory issues, contributing to planning applications and other regulatory issues and applications, assessing what surveys are required before work can start undertaking them and feeding results into the project
-Preparing and presenting concept and detailed drawings using CAD methods, participating in the detailed design process and producing / coordinating of design information
-Liaising with appropriate authorities when producing documentation for statutory approval
-Contributing to design risk assessments, administering contracts and visiting sites as required
-Supporting local and national bids / sales, managing more junior members of the team, regional coverage of projects nationally

This role of Architectural Technologist is great for you if:
-Bring competent use of REVIT and BIM and relevant IT / CAD software packages including Autocad, Twinmotion, Adobe Design Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel, relevant experience incl. education projects, blue light, MOD/MOJ.
-Use of NBS Create, knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts including full service and Design and Build
-Regular use and familiarity of REVIT, BIM, Autodesk Products including 3D Modeling and all relevant IT and CAD software packages
