The role
To work with the current team to screen safeguarding concerns as they are raised via our Advice and Referral Team (ART), gather relevant and proportionate information and make a timely decision upon whether S42 criteria is met.
We want to enable risk and reward innovation as we embrace opportunities to integrate, develop and embed new approaches to how we deliver our services to the public.
That is why we are now seeking enthusiastic, creative, motivated and forward thinking Social Workers to join us. Based in Plough Lane, Hereford, you will have immediate access to a wide range of knowledge and skills within our established Safeguarding Triage Team.
The team actively applies Making Safeguarding Personal. Making contact with the customer is a key aspect of the role and provides key evidence for deciding next steps. Working relations with partner agencies are very developed and any new worker will be expected to maintain and extend multi-disciplinary working.
About You
You must have experience of working in adult safeguarding previously and an excellent working knowledge of legislation relevant to adults.
The ability to drive around the County to respond to service need is essential, the team work from Plough lane 2-3 days per week and work from home.
