We are seeking an experienced and reliable Caretaker to support the day-to-day running of the school premises. This plays a key role in ensuring the site is safe, clean, and secure for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening the school in the morning and preparing the site for the day.
- Locking up the school in the evening, ensuring all areas are secure.
- Carrying out general cleaning duties across the site.
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs to keep the premises safe and functional.
- Monitoring and reporting any health and safety concerns.
- Supporting with deliveries and site access when required.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience as a school caretaker is essential.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Basic maintenance skills (e.g. plumbing, painting, minor repairs).
