Crynodeb
To provide specialised advice on Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and its provision across the Trust to promote safe and effective working practice. The post holder will lead, in collaboration with the Clinical Lead, on the development of strategy and operational delivery of MBCT within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHC) to the workforce. To work as an autonomous practitioner, and to coordinate the delivery of a programme of MBCT groups within the service, developing and monitoring clinical and staff wellbeing aspects of the service. This will entail processing referrals, screening individuals as to the suitability of MBCT, considering risk issues and tailoring advice according to their presentation under the clinical supervision of the Clinical Lead. To support the development of a supervised MBCT training pathway for staff within the Trust: providing: training; supervision/mentorship; and assessing competency to adhere with national standards and guidelines. To engage in audit, research and service evaluation initiatives to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of MBCT service provision. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
