This role is known within the organisation as a Procurement and Contracts Support Officer
SALARY: £28,598 to £31,023 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: Hybrid role – working part from the office in Wokingham and part from home
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Procurement Officer / Contracts Administrator to help deliver effective procurement and contract management processes.
As a Procurement Officer / Contracts Administrator you will support tendering, compliance monitoring and supplier relationship management, helping ensure best value for money across the organisation.
Working closely with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders, the Procurement Officer / Contracts Administrator will contribute to quality service delivery, performance monitoring and contract reporting.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Procurement Officer / Contracts Administrator include:
• Assist in the monitoring of contract KPIs and contract compliance work
• Be a key customer and supplier relationship officer including site visits as required
• Maintain up to date records of contract management activity
• Produce reports on contract compliance/performance, contract timelines, including termination notices and renewal periods
• Provide administrative support to the contract manager, such as scheduling review meetings
• Collaborate with and advise service areas where appropriate to ensure contract management support material is understood and used
• Support the early stages of procurement activities as required by the procurement manager
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in supporting contract management activity, preferably in a public organisation / local authority
• Experience of managing systems, data handling and producing reports
• Administrative experience, including organising and managing meetings
• Experience of working in a customer focused team, liaising with external organisations and officers at all levels
• Strong IT skills specifically in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Good organisation and people skills
• Confident self-starter with the ability to take initiative
