The duties of the Cargo Bike Rider Operative role will include:
- Carrying out all works with care and with attention to safety, using the appropriate tools, safeguards and PPE
- Following procedures set out in task specific RAMS and to ensure that all others involved in the task do so as well
- Ensuring that all materials are used correctly, and that waste is minimised by good housekeeping employing the briefed work methodology
- Reporting any incidents, accidents or points of concern to your line manager or the Site Management without delay
- Working as part of a team on site as required and take instructions from the site management team
What skills and experience do you need?
To be considered for the Cargo Bike Rider Operative role, you must be confident riding a bicycle, as well as previous experience within highways construction. A solid understanding of Health and Safety procedures, a CSCS card, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and strong communication skills are also essential . It would be an advantage if you have good knowledge of the routes around London.
