Crynodeb
The post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care including but not limited to In accordance with the agreed timetable the post-holder will be available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations and emergencies, telephone consultations and queries, triaging, home visits, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, pathology results, managing correspondence in a timely manner, patient medical reports and examinations (e.g. Insurance company reports), referral letters, paperwork and correspondence and to take part in the duty rota. Make professional autonomous decisions relating to patient care Record clear contemporaneous IT based consultation notes Collect data for audit purposes Extended hours as agreed by the practice Compiling and issuing acute and repeat prescriptions Prescribing in accordance with locally agreed or national guidelines All other duties reasonable expected of a GP working within primary care SystmOne Close practice links with Birmingham and Solihull ICB & LMC
