Join our vibrant Extra Care team and become the heartbeat of our service-supporting older adults to live independently with dignity and joy.
Our Administration Apprentice will:
- Assist in welcoming visitors in a warm and professional manner, ensuring that they adhere to the scheme's health, safety and fire
- Assist in answering the telephone in a friendly and professional manner, taking and forwarding messages as necessary.
- Assist on administrative tasks, dealing with general correspondence and maintaining accurate and up to date records.
- Assist with taking minutes for meetings, filing and archiving of old paperwork.
- Assist tenants with day-to-day enquiries and signpost them to relevant agency or colleague.
- To receive, record and store monies received (following policy and procedure guidelines)
Our ideal candidate will …
- Be punctual and reliable
- Have good communication skills including verbal and written
- Comply with Orwell's Health & Safety policy and carry out activities in a safe manner.
- Demonstrate a professional approach to all customers and colleagues maintaining a caring and supportive attitude
- Basic word processing, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills is essential.
As this is a training focused employment opportunity, qualifications are not considered necessary, and completion of GCSE English and/or Maths will be provided as part of the apprenticeship (if required)
