Would you like to be part of a world class research team? Can you provide technical support to a large number of important clinical projects?



There are a number of clinical trials supported by the University Research Laboratories based at Chapel Allerton Hospital (CAH). This Laboratory Technician post is required to help log, process and catalogue clinical blood and/or tissue samples whilst all the time ensuring compliance with the Human Tissue Act (2004) regulations.

Laboratory experience is essential as the role involves both working unsupervised and also part of a team. Good communication skills are required as the successful candidate will interact with all members of the Leeds Institute of Rheumatic & Musculoskeletal Medicine (LIRMM) as well as the lab team. You will also have meticulous attention to detail in order to produce robust and accurate data for use in clinical trials.
