The family enjoys European travel and occasionally takes their housekeeper along when staying in France. They are seeking a caring, responsible, and proactive professional to support the smooth running of their household, care for their beloved pets, and maintain the property to an impeccable standard. This is a varied and fulfilling position, blending housekeeping with light cooking, pet care, and occasional caretaking duties when the family travels. The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the home to a consistently high standard, organising daily routines, and ensuring the property is guest-ready.
The role requires someone flexible, self-sufficient, and animal-loving, with the confidence to manage household tasks independently and the initiative to take responsibility for the smooth operation of the home. A driving licence is essential due to the countryside location, though a car will be provided for household errands.

Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Driving Licence: Needed (manual car provided)
Start Date: ASAP
Accommodation: Furnished 1-bedroom apartment provided on the property
Duties will include:
General housekeeping: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and ensuring all rooms are tidy
Laundry management including washing, ironing, and organisation of wardrobes
Changing and refreshing bed linens
Bathroom deep cleaning to a high standard
Kitchen upkeep including dishes and surfaces
Household tidying and organisation
Ad hoc errands such as dropping off/picking up dry cleaning and light grocery shopping
Occasional dog walking
Minimal Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a private housekeeping role
2 excellent, checkable references
Conversational level of English
UK working permit
Must be pet friendly and comfortable around a small dog
