An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a large multi-franchise approved car dealership located in Cardiff.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
Benefits for the Vehicle Technician:
- Starting basic salary likely to be £30,000 per annum; however, this is based on skill and qualifications.
- Access to a bonus scheme providing additional earnings of £6,000 per annum (the bonus hasn't been missed in 5 years!)
- Overtime paid at an enhanced rate of time and a half. Lots available, increasing your earnings.
- 22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
- Workplace pension scheme.
- Subsidised car option after 6 months of service.
- Annual manufacturer training provided.
- Fantastic long-term career prospects with a long-established dealership.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings 8.30am-12:30pm paid additionally at time and a half.
Duties of the Vehicle Technician include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- MOT Testing
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician:
- A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
- Dedicated and committed approach.
- Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
- Your own Vehicle Technician tools
The salary of this role is up to £30,000 basic with OTE of £36,000.
Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings 8.30am-12:30pm paid additionally at time and a half.
