The Role: Relief Security Officer - Plymouth, Newquay and Ilfracombe Area
We're looking for a professional, reliable, and flexible Relief Security Officer to join our team in the Plymouth, Newquay and Ilfracombe areas. This role requires someone who can cover a variety of shifts and locations, so access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide a visible and vigilant security presence across various client sites
-Follow site-specific Assignment Instructions (AI's) and ensure full compliance
-Maintain a high standard of personal and professional conduct
-Ensure the safety of the public and staff by proactively monitoring for risks and hazards
-Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and effectively
-Accurately document incidents and ensure all reporting procedures are followed
-Make timely check calls and emergency contacts as required
-Attend and complete all required training and development programmes
What You'll Need:
-Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision
-Previous security experience (retail security experience is an advantage)
-Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
-Strong communication skills and a calm, confident approach under pressure
-Flexibility to cover days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
