A leading international provider of legal services is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join its London-based finance team. With a global footprint and a reputation for excellence, the organisation offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where professionals thrive and grow.
Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the finance operations. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties, including:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Overseeing supplier invoice processing and approvals
- Preparing VAT/GST and ONS returns
- Supporting year-end audit processes
- Assisting with corporation tax analysis and PSA preparation
- Managing client accounts in line with Solicitor Accounts Rules (SAR)
- Providing billing support during peak periods
- Assisting and mentoring junior team members
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) with solid experience in preparing management accounts. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience with Solicitor Accounts Rules and supporting junior colleagues will be advantageous. You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and enjoys working collaboratively.
