We are currently recruiting on behalf of a respected client in the Grantham area who is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term employment, with the potential to move into a permanent role following a successful qualifying period. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations within the facility
• Work safely with chemicals and wear appropriate PPE, including a chemical suit
• Carry out tasks requiring a good basic level of maths (e.g. weighing, measuring, mixing)
• Follow health & safety procedures and company protocols
• General site and equipment maintenance as required

Requirements

• A good standard of maths – essential for measuring and handling materials
• Willingness to work with chemicals, including wearing a full chemical suit (PPE provided)
• Full UK driving licence – essential for site access or local collections/deliveries
• Forklift licence – highly desirable, but not essential (training may be provided)
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks in a production/warehouse setting
