The Team Leader – Marine Superintendent reports to the Executive Manager- Ferries, Airports and Ports Infrastructure and is a member of the service management team. The Team Leader - Marine Superintendent provides information and advice to the Executive Manager to support service and directorate decision taking and the provision of support to Elected Members in determining the Council’s overall strategic objectives and priorities in relation to Ferry Operations.

Manage the Ferries Marine Superintendent operations team, providing a customer focussed efficient and effective delivery of services in accordance with the Council’s values, objectives, targets and statutory obligations. This includes the responsibility for the following functions: vessel crewing, vessel operations.

The Team Leader - Marine Superintendent provides professional advice to the Executive Manager, Director and Elected Members with respect to the development, planning and delivery of services to ensure the Council fulfils all statutory requirements and implements relevant policies in respect of these services.
