Help transform lives like K’s.

Hi, I’m K and I have been attending the South Glasgow Recovery Hub since September 2023. I self-referred to the hub for support for my ongoing addiction. My life has been difficult as I have been impacted with trauma, due to my addiction I have no positive relationships with family or friends.

The hub has provided me with support and amazing opportunities with to deal with my trauma and substance use by attending in hub groups, as well as regular meeting with my keyworker.

When it comes to supporting me, it is imperative that I have someone I can build a relationship up with to ensure there is trust, patience and empathy. It’s important that my keyworker has genuine values, understanding of addiction, with a friendly approach.

We are looking to recruit a committed and self-motivated Domestic Worker. You will be expected to provide a comprehensive housekeeping service to the service, maintaining a high standard and quality of physical environment.

A working knowledge of C.O.S.H.H. regulations is essential and previous relevant experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that equipment and materials are kept to the standard required of the current Health & Safety Legislation by means of cleaning schedules which should be recorded appropriately.

Please note previous applicants need not apply. Experience of Social care / addiction is required.
