P4 Recruitment are supporting a large national charity in their search for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join their supported living services in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, including Deaf individuals, both in their homes and in the local community.
The charity’s mission is to ensure the people they support live fulfilling, independent lives. They deliver person-centred, empowering care that helps each individual achieve their goals and aspirations.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service
Providing direct, hands-on support to the people we support
Supervising staff, managing rotas, and overseeing support plans
Liaising with families, professionals, and external agencies
Ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained
What we’re looking for
Confidence in mentoring and supporting team members
Strong organisational and communication skills
IT literacy and ability to manage administrative tasks
A full UK driving licence
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and occasional sleep-ins
Experience supporting Deaf people, or a willingness to learn sign language, is highly valued
What you’ll get in return
