Arc Industrial are recruiting for a busy production/warehouse client based in Little Plumstead. We are looking for reliable, motivated individuals to join a hardworking team. If you’re looking for steady hours, good pay, and the chance to secure a permanent position, this could be for you.
Location: Little Plumstead, Norfolk
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Rate: £12.50 per hour
Contract: Temporary, with possible Temp-to-Perm for the right candidate
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Picker / Packer / Production Operative, your duties will include:
• Picking items from inventory or storage based on order sheets or scanner system or work instructions
• Packing items securely for dispatch, ensuring products are well protected
• Labelling, sealing and preparing packages for shipping
• Quality checks – inspecting goods, making sure order accuracy, reporting any damaged or incorrect items
• Maintaining stock accuracy and follow stock control procedures
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and organised (good housekeeping)
• Assisting with production line work as needed (assembling, feeding items into line, etc.)
• Helping with loading/unloading materials, moving pallets or products safely
• Following all health & safety rules and company operational procedures
What We’re Looking For
We believe the right person will have:
• A strong work ethic and good attendance record
• Ability to work efficiently, with attention to detail
• Physically able: standing, walking, lifting up to moderate weights
• Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
• Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility — especially willingness to learn new tasks
• No specific experience required; training will be provided. Previous warehouse / production experience would be a plus.
