Crynodeb
We are looking for a part-time Housekeeper to join our team at Coastal Lodge.
Coastal Lodge is a 36 bedded unit, which provides short term rehabilitation and reablement care and support on their journey back home.
As a Housekeeper you will be supporting our service with infection control and cleanliness processes. You will undertake cleaning and laundry tasks that involve following daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules. This will include making/changing beds; vacuuming; dusting; deep-cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms; use of carpet washers; laundry machines and folding laundry to ensure the home is kept clean and tidy.
The successful candidate will be able to use a range of cleaning equipment and to read and carry out basic instructions. You will be introduced and trained to use our systems to support daily reporting and documentation.
What you’ll do
- Undertaking general cleaning tasks in clients’ rooms and communal areas.
- Keeping basic records up to date, including cleaning charts in rooms.
- Getting to know clients’ requirements and preferences and providing a personalised service.
- The ability to work flexibly including alternate weekends and bank holidays.
What you need
- The ability to use a range of cleaning equipment.
- Good written English skills to complete cleaning records.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of Health and Hygiene practices, Health and Safety at Work, COSHH regulations and infection control procedures.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Part-time – 6 hours per week
