This post will sit within the department of Older Peoples Services and does not include General Medicine on-call work. However, prospective applicants wishing to partake in the acute unselected medical on-call are encouraged to register with the staff bank.The successful applicant will be able to develop individualised educational goals including a focus within the specialty of your choice. This post presents excellent opportunities to develop clinical skills and has a high level of consultant supervision. This provides a good educational opportunity and if the postholder is interested they will be able to gain audit, research, or teaching experience.
