WE’RE HIRING!
We are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team!
Requirements:
MAIN DUTIES:
1. To assist with the planning of the curriculum.
2. To help set up the nursery room for the daily programme and to help tidy away at the end of the session.
3. To act as a key person to a small groups of children, liaising closely with parents/carers and ensuring each child’s needs are recognised and met.
4. To advise the manager/supervisor of any concerns e.g. over children, parents or the safety of the equipment, preserving confidentiality as necessary.
5. To teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation.
6. To attend staff meetings.
7. To attend in-service training courses and meetings as required.
8. To keep completely confidential any information regarding the children, their families or other staff which is required as part of the job.
But most importantly:
Must possess the superpower of rapid head counting to keep up with lightening-fast, wiggly children!
Ability to read upside down is a must, with at least 5 interruptions per page. Bonus points if you can decode scribbles and doodles as well!
Singing skills are not necessary, but the ability to belt out off-key tunes in front of tiny humans is absolutely essential.
