We are currently seeking individuals from a care background who are interested in working in a school environment. We are specifically looking for candidates who are either looking to gain classroom experience, or already have previous experience of working with groups of children or young people with SEND needs including Autism (ASD), profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and other complex learning and medical needs.
Duties include:
- To attend to the pupils' personal needs, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters.
- Supporting pupils who may have complex medical needs and who may need emergency medical support.
- Supporting pupils who require additional support with communication and speech difficulties
- Providing support to pupils who need assistance with personal care.
- Feeding pupils and assisting them with drinking
- Supporting pupils who may need to be lifted and carried and/or in transported in wheelchairs.

We also offer full induction training and the Level 2 Team Teach certification, provided by our inhouse training team.

As part of our recruitment process, we will undertake the necessary checks to complete your registration with us, inclusive of a video interview, current employment, academic or character references within the last 2 years, and a DBS check. Candidates must have an Enhanced DBS Certificate that is either on the Update Service or be willing to undergo the application process for this.
