Job Introduction

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QHSE Assurance Auditor to join our team supporting the Project Allenby Connaught (PAC) contract. This role is key to delivering contractual assurance activities and supporting the QHSE Lead in evaluating internal controls, identifying risks, and driving continuous improvement across the contract.

You will be instrumental in planning and conducting audits across multiple services and sites, including Mess accounts, unit business health checks, and contract performance indicators. Your insights will directly support the enhancement of compliance, service delivery, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and manage the contract-wide internal audit programme, ensuring compliance with contractual and QHSE requirements.
  • Conduct audits and inspections across PAC sites, reporting findings clearly and constructively.
  • Identify areas of risk, best practice, and opportunities for improvement through internal compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with the QHSE and operational teams to ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
  • Monitor, maintain, and track records of performance failures, customer complaints, and self-reported incidents.
  • Support digital auditing tools, including schedule setup, user management, and system optimisation.
  • Assist with monthly trend analysis and reporting for contract performance metrics.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate contractual documentation and assurance records.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in auditing or assurance activities within a facilities management, defence, or large-scale operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of QHSE principles and compliance frameworks.
  • Confident in using digital audit tools and document management systems.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and report writing skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with QHSE and operational teams.
  • Relevant auditing or QHSE certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, etc.) desirable but not essential.
