Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs?
We are seeking a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in the Swanley/Orpington area.
The role:
• Working closely with students with a range of needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties.
• Providing 1:1 support as well as small group interventions.
• Supporting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour in pupils.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience working in an SEN setting (school, care, or similar) is desirable.
• A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a supportive team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to meet the individual needs of each student.
