About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of services at Norwood.
As Head of Strategy and Service Transformation, you will lead on the delivery of our four strategic pillars, with a particular focus on Transitions, Adult Services, and working closely with Children & Family Services to strengthen pathways and continuity of support.

We are looking for a leader who can combine strategic vision with hands-on delivery, someone equally confident setting direction as they are ensuring day-to-day operations meet the highest standards.

You will oversee the redesign and modernisation of services so they are consistently high-quality, person-centred, compliant, financially sustainable, and aligned with Norwood’s vision: empowering every individual to live their best life.

Your Day to Day

Transforming Services: Lead innovation across housing, supported living, and care models to increase independence, choice, and efficiency.
Transitions Leadership: Develop and implement a transitions strategy that supports individuals and families at key life stages, ensuring services are co-produced and reflect community needs.
Housing Strategy: Shape sustainable housing pathways in partnership with local authorities, housing providers, and partners.
Financial Leadership: Identify efficiencies, develop creative funding models, and reinvest savings into frontline services.
Collaborative Working: Engage with families, communities, and stakeholders to champion person-centred solutions and long-term resilience.
Qualifications, Experience & Training

Essential

Degree-level qualification or equivalent significant experience.
Senior leadership experience within health, social care, or the charity sector.
Proven record of leading service transformation projects.
Strong knowledge of adult social care models, housing strategies, and compliance.
Financial acumen and experience delivering sustainable funding models.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Desirable

Postgraduate qualification in management, social care, housing, or related field.
Experience working with Jewish community services.
Familiarity with supported employment and vocational pathways.
Experience influencing policy at regional or national level.
