Crynodeb

We are seeking a multi skilled joiner to join our team. We cover work in several sectors including residential, commercial and educational. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of joinery techniques and the ability to work with various hand and power tools. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the capability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture.
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and join materials.
Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Perform masonry tasks as required for specific projects.
Conduct electrical installations related to joinery work when necessary.
Assist in roofing projects by installing wooden frameworks.
Carry out heavy lifting as needed during the construction process.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements

Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as chisels, saws, and hammers.
Familiarity with power tools including drills, sanders, and nail guns.
Knowledge of masonry techniques is advantageous.
Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Full driving licence
