We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team in a pivotal combined Sales & Marketing role, working 4 days a week. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant period of change within our organisation and collaboratively shape this new role in alignment with our vision.
About the Role:
This role is crucial in driving membership growth, enhancing member engagement, and elevating our online presence. You will be instrumental in promoting the value proposition of CBP membership, developing new services, and ensuring effective communication with our diverse membership base.
Key Responsibilities:
Membership Acquisition, Growth & Engagement: Identify and target new businesses (tourism and non-tourism) within the Cairngorms National Park, promote CBP membership benefits, develop recruitment strategies, build strong relationships with existing members, and work to retain existing members.
Service Development & Delivery: Identify service gaps, propose new offerings, contribute to the development and delivery of member benefits (e.g., workshops, networking events), and ensure effective communication of these services.
Digital Marketing Support: Assist with marketing activity across web, email, and social media platforms for VisitCairngorms, monitor social media, support with content creation and help respond to journalist requests.
Website Management & Optimisation: Maintain and optimise VisitCairngorms website, manage and update member listings, and add content to https://www.cairngormschamber.com.
Data Management & Reporting: Ensure accuracy of member data in the CRM (Rubi), segment members effectively, keep Mailchimp databases updated, and monitor and report on marketing performance.
Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement: Identify collaborative opportunities, act as a point of contact for stakeholders, and attend relevant meetings.
Commercial Income & Project Development: Involvement in identifying and securing sponsorships and developing new products and services.
Administrative & Support Tasks: Respond to enquiries, stay abreast of local news, assist with website tasks and complete monthly KPIs.
