What the school offers its staff

Southwick is a very special Church of England primary school in the village of Southwick, near Trowbridge. The school as we know it, was established in 1869 to provide an education based on moral and religious instruction for the poor families of Southwick.

Our mission is to ensure that, through a loving Christian fellowship, our children learn all the values, skills and knowledge they need so that they can grow into positive and active members of the community in which they live. Our belief is that ‘to love’ is at the heart of being a Christian and underpins our mission: “Do everything in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:4 Southwick is a warm, friendly environment in which everyone is welcome. We are an inclusive school and ambitious for all of our children.
