Your Role

This role will include completing Care Act assessments, support planning and risk assessments. You will be working under the Care Act 2014 and will also be expected to complete mental capacity assessments when needed and social circumstance reports. You will be joining a well established team and will be working closely with the community mental health team and other health colleagues. You will need to be able to work in a team but also work autonomously and have experience in mental health and knowledge of the Mental Health Act. You will also be expected to undertake safeguarding enquiries and work in a strengths based way.

About You


We are looking for a social worker who is motivated to get the people of Stockport the care that they need whilst ensuring working in a strengths based way and maintaining independence of service users and using community resources in an asset based approach. We are looking for someone who is a qualified and experienced social worker who has knowledge, interest and passion about mental health social work.
