Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Salary: Scale 3 point 5-6 FTE £23,583-£23,989 Pro rata actual salary £12,815.85 to £13,019.17
Hours: 21.67 Hours Term Time only
Working Pattern: 9am-1pm Monday, Tuesday Wednesday & Friday. Thursday 9am-3.00pm
Contract type: Temporary SEND Provision to August 31st 2026
Closing date: Sunday 12th October 2025
Interview Date: Tuesday 14th October 2025
Start Date: ASAP
The Governors, staff and children would like to appoint a reliable Teaching Assistant who wants to join our lovely school and be part of our great team. The post is temporary. Your primary role will be supporting children with additional needs in the classroom in order that they can fully access the curriculum. Also, part of your role will be to support children at lunchtime.
The successful candidate will:
be able to work effectively as part of team
be committed to building excellent relationships with staff, children, parents and carers
have excellent behaviour management skills
recognise the importance of good mental health and be able to nurture children
be calm and patient
be able to meet the individual needs of the children.

have excellent English, maths and communication skills, both orally and written
